Happy Band Review!

I recently had the opportunity to try out a Happy Band from Running Happy! :)

I love their description of their shop!

'We're keeping the "fun in run"
A store operated by two running Mamma's with a "slight" cupcake addiction.  :)'

They were nice enough to send me a very cute Pink Camo Happy Band!

Actually, they sent me a SUPER Happy Band!

This is what they say on their website about the SUPER Happy Band:
'Guaranteed not to slip or your money back.
Perfect for those who just can't get a band to stay!  Add it to any Happy Band! '

See that little clip in the bottom picture? It's like a small comb that is pushed into your hair and it is extra help to keep that Happy Band in place while you sweat your heart out!
It already has the velvet on the bottom to make it non-slip, but having that extra clip, made it even better!

I have worn it around the house to do house work, worn it on 3 mile runs and walks, and even wore it through my 30 Day Shred DVD through jumping jacks! lol
The Super Happy Band did not slip at all!

It was super comfortable as well! I have bought headbands that have been too tight before and given me headaches. My SUPER Happy Band did not! It was wonderful even for running errands!

And I just love how cute it is!!!

You can purchase your very own cute, no slip SUPER Happy Band by going to their website:
www.Running-Happy.com

They also give you an option to place custom orders! Just contact them, and they can help you out!

They even sell these cute little cupcake decals!!!
That is just so cute!

I was given this headband for review as a #SweatPink Ambassador, but all opinions are my own! :)

Park Problem Solved! :)

Looks like I have found my park! It's about 10 min. away driving, but it is totally worth it! My run wasn't all that exciting, but the Park was! :) Here are my new running buddies! :) They are fun to watch while running by! :)  Yes that's my finger...The sun was very bright and I didn't see it! lol :) I just love it all!  Stopping to take pictures! :) I have to Thank my mom who actually Google Maped this Park for me! :) So glad she found it! :)  As for the run, I really don't know how long the trail is, so I don't even know how far I went! I made it all the way around, walking, in less than 15 min. so I am thinking that it is at least a mile. If it is, then I did 3 miles today! If not, then...I don't know! It's times like these that I wish I had my Garmin ! :) For the first 2 laps, I decided to just Run/Walk. I would run 5 min. walk for 1 or 2 min. Then the last lap I just walked the whole time. Just to enjoy it! I just have to say...the hills are

Cowtown Half Recap!

On Sunday, February 24, 2013 I ran my first official Half Marathon!  Before the race started, I met up with these fellow MRTT ladies!  Pic from How My World Runs It was freezing cold (yes 33 degrees is freezing to this Texan! haha) and I was hoping it wouldn't warm up too much because I run so much better in the cold. I ended up wearing my jacket the whole time and was completely comfortable! We had a wind advisory in affect and I think the wind made it even cooler. This was also my first time to run with my new haircut and with my hair down! Didn't bother me at all! Short hair for the win! :) I was in the very last Corral to start. Yes, I know I'm slow. Get Over it!<---Saw that saying on several shirts throughout the race!  Looks like I need one! haha :) I had to post this pic, because I have no idea what I was doing, nor remember even taking it! Haha! About 20 min before the race, I headed to the porta potty's. Yeah, I should have
