Birthday and Waiting...

Today is my Puppies 5th Birthday! Only he really isn't a puppy anymore now :( He has a lot of gray around his mouth now. Cody and I got him 4 months after we were married so he has been our baby for the past 5 years! I have read online, however, that dogs can tell when you are pregnant. Well...he can definitely tell and he has his own set of hormones. He has resorted to biting at both me and Cody. Now he has even started biting at She-Ra. I think he knows he's about to become 2nd place to the baby. It's sad, but also frustrating. He still brings joy to our lives...sometimes...other times, I just want to strangle him! Like when he pees and poops all over my floor, just cuz he is to scared to go outside. Arggg...But he is still part of the family....for now. :) I know he will be better once we get a house and he can have a backyard to run around in, but for now...he hates to go outside...Especially on his leash. He still deserves a Happy Birthday though! 5 years in our family! :)

As of Thursday, I am 37 weeks pregnant!

I feel like a beached whale and look like one too! haha :)

This is half of her face. The other half was hiding in the shadows. :)

And this is her foot! The arrow is pointing to the bottom of the foot.

She is being measured at 6lbs. 9oz.  and 18.9 inches so far. Which means she will likely be at least a 8 pound baby if not more. I was expecting that, but still not happy about it! lol. She hasn't dropped at all and really no dilation or any progress at all. I'm ready for her to be here! So I am just sitting around very impatiently for her to make her appearance! Until then...I will be happy that she is safe and sound and still growing. :)
Today is only 19 days until her due date!
Can't wait to meet my little girl! :)

Starting over with something new.

Way back in 2012 I started running...for reals... I ran my first Virtual Half Marathon in June and then in the Fall, I started meeting up with a Moms RUN This Town friend 3-4 days a week to walk/run 3-4 miles with our kiddos in the stroller. We started training for the Cowtown Half Marathon and I started dropping weight. By December, I had lost 35 lbs (this was total since having Sophie, not just in 2-3 months) and I looked the best I had looked in a very long while. Then I ran the Cowtown Half in February of 2013, hurt my hip, stopped running, walked the Dallas Rock N Roll Half a month later and then stopped running for good until August of 2013. I then started trying to pick it up a bit here and there while also participating in Stroller Strides.  The thing is...I started gaining weight once I stopped running. Didn't matter if I was doing stroller strides. I just kept getting bigger. First it was just 10 lbs. I kept it at that 10 lb weight gain from August until January

Cowtown Half Recap!

On Sunday, February 24, 2013 I ran my first official Half Marathon!  Before the race started, I met up with these fellow MRTT ladies!  Pic from How My World Runs It was freezing cold (yes 33 degrees is freezing to this Texan! haha) and I was hoping it wouldn't warm up too much because I run so much better in the cold. I ended up wearing my jacket the whole time and was completely comfortable! We had a wind advisory in affect and I think the wind made it even cooler. This was also my first time to run with my new haircut and with my hair down! Didn't bother me at all! Short hair for the win! :) I was in the very last Corral to start. Yes, I know I'm slow. Get Over it!<---Saw that saying on several shirts throughout the race!  Looks like I need one! haha :) I had to post this pic, because I have no idea what I was doing, nor remember even taking it! Haha! About 20 min before the race, I headed to the porta potty's. Yeah, I should have
