I ❤ Banana's!

If there is one thing I could eat EVERY single day...
it's BANANA'S!
They are just so delicious!

I had my first Banana "Soft-Serve" today.
AKA "A frozen mashed up banana" lol.

Pure Heaven! I wish I had tried this in the summer! :)

Who needs ice cream when you have mashed up frozen banana! :)

For lunch at work, this past weekend, I discovered my new favorite sandwich!

half a banana...

And Nature's Own 100% Whole Grain Sandwich Rounds. They are only 100 calories! And oh so yummy! :)

I have definitely had my share of fruit this week. :) Now I just need to find a way to get veggies in there! I did, actually, eat a couple of spinach leaf & cheese wraps on Whole Wheat Tortilla's, last week.

Pretty tasty if you need something quick and filling! :)

This is my new water bottle!
I found it at Target, marked down from $9.99 to $2.49!!!
I have been wanting one, so I couldn't pass up this price! :)
Can't wait to use it at the gym this week! :)

I should be running again this evening. I'll be trying to increase my speed on this run,  so maybe I can finish a 5K in less than an hour!

I hope everyone has a great week! :)

Park Problem Solved! :)

Looks like I have found my park! It's about 10 min. away driving, but it is totally worth it! My run wasn't all that exciting, but the Park was! :) Here are my new running buddies! :) They are fun to watch while running by! :)  Yes that's my finger...The sun was very bright and I didn't see it! lol :) I just love it all!  Stopping to take pictures! :) I have to Thank my mom who actually Google Maped this Park for me! :) So glad she found it! :)  As for the run, I really don't know how long the trail is, so I don't even know how far I went! I made it all the way around, walking, in less than 15 min. so I am thinking that it is at least a mile. If it is, then I did 3 miles today! If not, then...I don't know! It's times like these that I wish I had my Garmin ! :) For the first 2 laps, I decided to just Run/Walk. I would run 5 min. walk for 1 or 2 min. Then the last lap I just walked the whole time. Just to enjoy it! I just have to say...the hills are

Cowtown Half Recap!

On Sunday, February 24, 2013 I ran my first official Half Marathon!  Before the race started, I met up with these fellow MRTT ladies!  Pic from How My World Runs It was freezing cold (yes 33 degrees is freezing to this Texan! haha) and I was hoping it wouldn't warm up too much because I run so much better in the cold. I ended up wearing my jacket the whole time and was completely comfortable! We had a wind advisory in affect and I think the wind made it even cooler. This was also my first time to run with my new haircut and with my hair down! Didn't bother me at all! Short hair for the win! :) I was in the very last Corral to start. Yes, I know I'm slow. Get Over it!<---Saw that saying on several shirts throughout the race!  Looks like I need one! haha :) I had to post this pic, because I have no idea what I was doing, nor remember even taking it! Haha! About 20 min before the race, I headed to the porta potty's. Yeah, I should have
