Ramblings...

I feel like a follow up from my depressing little post a couple of weeks ago, is in order.
is not something I had...

I still feel like I'm failing on a lot of my goals, but I have learned that they are called goals for a reason.
I have them there to aim for something. If it doesn't happen, well, at least my daughter is alive and happy at the end of the day. And I have gotten to spend a few precious minutes with my husband at the end of his long work day. As much as I would like to be, I am not Super Mom. I can't do everything and unfortunately, I do not have the energy to do everything I want to do.

If I had my way right now, I would be working out twice a day. I feel like after my morning run is over, I have so much energy built up and I want to go to the gym and do more! But I don't belong to  gym. So, I get lazy instead. And then my mind starts going...Man I wish I had some cookies right now. Oh how I wish Sonic would deliver Sweet Tea's! Ha! I could sure go for anything to eat that I don't have to cook!....Yes that is how my mind works these days. My old habits are coming back. I want sweets. I want LOTS of sweet tea. I want to binge eat and then not think about it.

I need to learn time management. I got my daughter on a decent nightly schedule, but instead of taking that extra time to do a workout video or exercise with my Ultimate Sandbag, I am so exhausted that I sit on the couch and space out on my iPad. Or catch up on Biggest Loser. Love that show!

This is bad for me. And I know it is. I am putting this out there so I can be held accountable!
I need to see this out there in the world!

I have been pretty good about keeping up with my running again, but I've hit another plateau in my weight loss and I need to add something extra. Doing exercises with my Ultimate Sandbag once a week isn't really doing much either! And yes I know that my eating habits have definitely helped with stalling my weight loss, but it will continue to be a daily struggle in my life that I must face every. single. day.

See I knew I would be rambling.
And as far as my blogging goes...
I'm hoping to do some giveaways soon!

I think that would really perk up my blog and give you all something good to see and hear about!

Until then...here's some motivation for the weekend! :)

HaHa I love that one! :)

Have a great weekend! :)

Park Problem Solved! :)

Looks like I have found my park! It's about 10 min. away driving, but it is totally worth it! My run wasn't all that exciting, but the Park was! :) Here are my new running buddies! :) They are fun to watch while running by! :)  Yes that's my finger...The sun was very bright and I didn't see it! lol :) I just love it all!  Stopping to take pictures! :) I have to Thank my mom who actually Google Maped this Park for me! :) So glad she found it! :)  As for the run, I really don't know how long the trail is, so I don't even know how far I went! I made it all the way around, walking, in less than 15 min. so I am thinking that it is at least a mile. If it is, then I did 3 miles today! If not, then...I don't know! It's times like these that I wish I had my Garmin ! :) For the first 2 laps, I decided to just Run/Walk. I would run 5 min. walk for 1 or 2 min. Then the last lap I just walked the whole time. Just to enjoy it! I just have to say...the hills are

Cowtown Half Recap!

On Sunday, February 24, 2013 I ran my first official Half Marathon!  Before the race started, I met up with these fellow MRTT ladies!  Pic from How My World Runs It was freezing cold (yes 33 degrees is freezing to this Texan! haha) and I was hoping it wouldn't warm up too much because I run so much better in the cold. I ended up wearing my jacket the whole time and was completely comfortable! We had a wind advisory in affect and I think the wind made it even cooler. This was also my first time to run with my new haircut and with my hair down! Didn't bother me at all! Short hair for the win! :) I was in the very last Corral to start. Yes, I know I'm slow. Get Over it!<---Saw that saying on several shirts throughout the race!  Looks like I need one! haha :) I had to post this pic, because I have no idea what I was doing, nor remember even taking it! Haha! About 20 min before the race, I headed to the porta potty's. Yeah, I should have
